A new addition to our range of kits. This kit includes the latest items you need to get started with the new Raspberry Pi 4 board, including a new 5.1V 3A USB-C multinational power supply with interchangeable heads so you can take it pretty much anywhere in the world with you, a micro HDMI cable so you can plug it into the display of your choice and a micro SD card with NOOBS pre-installed so all you have to do is install the software of your choice from the list available.
We know that there are a wide range of cases available for the Pi, so we decided that rather than force one on you that you will throw away when a better one comes along we would supply a kit that doesn't include one, therefore allowing you free choice of all the cases that are available out there now and in the future.
Kit Includes:
The Raspberry Pi 4 is the latest product in the Raspberry Pi range, boasting a 64-bit quad core processor running at 1.5GHz, dual-band 802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0/BLE, gigabit Ethernet, support for dual display with up to 4K resolution, USB 3.0 and 2.0, USB C power and PoE capability via a separate PoE HAT

Features
With the introduction of the faster 1.5GHz 64-bit quad core CPU on the Raspberry Pi 4, along with the up to 4GB RAM available will see much faster boot speeds and better general performance particularly on CPU heavy tasks.
With the introduction of USB-C as the power connector there is support for an extra 500mA of current, meaning that there is a full 1.2A for downstream USB devices. This means you will need a new USB-C power supply capable of supplying 5V at 3A.
To accommodate dual display output while keeping the existing board footprint the full size (type A) HDMI has been replaced with two micro (type D) HDMI connectors. These HDMI ports support up to 4Kp60, allowing you to use your RPi 4 with larger displays but still with a crisp, sharp, high resolution.
The RPi 4 has introduced two USB 3.0 ports alongside two USB 2.0 ports. The USB 3.0 ports allow up to 10x faster transfer speeds than USB 2.0 allowing for faster peripherals such as SSDs and flash drives.
The upgrade to Bluetooth 5.0 means twice the speed (2Mbit/s) and up to four times the range than on the previous board.
