Which webcam to run on the Sheeva?

Hi,

I've just ordered a sheeva plug (Multi-boot) and would like to set it up to use a webcam via the usb and have it post pics at intervals of 30 seconds onto a webserver that I can access remotely.

I have some experience of the commandline but none of webcams. Which, preferably cheap, webcam works well with the sheevaplug?

For those interested,  I seem to have found a webcam thats both compatible and cheap. The Logitech C120. Although not a high end webcam and without a microphone its all I will require for my project.  The idea is to have the webcam pointed at the two parking spaces outside my flat so that I can see remotely whether a space is available and then drive like the wind!!

Thanks for the very useful information. In an ideal world we would have tested a whole bunch of cameras and provided results / feedback here. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to do that.
