hello,

i try to follow this instructions: http://plugcomputer.org/plugwiki/index.php/SheevaPlug_Installer

but the installer fails with a Segmentation fault. mmc or nand makes no difference. I use a 4GB SD Card with ext2 filesystem an and a 1 gb usbstick with fat16 filesystem.

What can i do?

Code:
sudo php runme.php mmc

 **** exec(modprobe ftdi_sio vendor=0x9e88 product=0x9e8f)

Search the SheevaPlug section of the forum for 'openocd Segmentation fault'

Now it works but I have no really idea why.

That is what I did:

I figured out, that my plug don't recognize any USB stick. I've tried 4 different models. Then I read that a u-boot update might help. I update u-boot via tfpt following this instructions: http://www.cyrius.com/debian/kirkwood/sheevaplug/uboot-upgrade.html . After this procedure "usb start" shows one storage device and I started the installation processes again (php runme.php mmc). the error appears again but on the serial console i saw that after the reboot the installation continues and now everything is fine.
