Hello.

I am new to the Sheevaplug and have started to configure my very own. I have now done some sort of misconfiguration and my sheevaplug no longer boots properly. I have bought a Sheeva UBIFS debian version from you (NewIT), it worked perfectly until I added a usb harddrive and configured the mount points in /etc/fstab. I tried to mount the partitions after configuring them, and it worked. I then decided to restart the plug, to test that it automatically mounted the defined partitions on boot. I only added the usb partitions to the fstab file, nothing else.

As a result of my misconfiguration, the device no longer boot properly. Help! What do I do now?

Thank you for all your time and help.

Regards,
/mtv

In theory you should be able to boot from an external device (eg SD card), then mount he NAND / UBIFS file system and fix your error. See [http://www.newit.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,432.0.html]here[/url] for how to mount the UBIFS NAND.
