Nice Price Smiley
What kind of PowerSupply is used? 12 or 5V? External? Connector-Type?
What kind of Boot-devices are supported? (internal Flash/SD/USB-HDD?)

Are you getting them from Germany? Anyone told me that they would be build here in Germany from B-Plan (Oberursel)?

Are you also planning to sell the Smartbook? And if the RISC OS port works, is this something you'd consider bundling with the products (for a small extra cost to cover the licence fee)? Refer to [1], [2]. Thanks for reading.

Hi!

I'm considering purchasing an Efika MX Smarttop but I am concerned that the i.MX535 chip should be out and therefore the current Smarttop is about to be replaced. I want to use the Smarttop as an SSH server, File Server and also occasional media server (ideally so I don't need to boot up my current gaming PC just to watch some divx/listen to music etc).

According to this post: http://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1972 there was due to be some news in June. Can someone confirm if there will be a new model and if so, how far away is it? I really would like 1080p decoding and the current model is a compromise on features that I assume the 535 wouldn't be.

Any help you can give would be appreciated,

Thanks!

@Warfire I had info from Genesi and NewIT that a move to MX535 is expected within a few months of June (ie: around now) - but there is the usual "ish" attached to this for all new product releases.

But the above is nothing concrete ofc - keep an eye on http://genesi-usa.com and http://blog.efikamx.info .

Thanks cikub - I have added both to my RSS reader. The consensus is that there will be a 535 MX Smarttop then? Great!
