Split USB into 2 Ports (internal and external)

Hello,

I'm interested in running a small USB device, internal to an enclosure (not the plug shell) off the Sheevaplug board.
I would also like to retain the external USB port as-is.
Is there a way to "double" the ports so that I can have the external one and an internal header-style port?
