Good Morning,
Is possible to connect a switch or button on sheevaplug and when push it run a script on it?
I see that there are many connector no wired on pcb (like near back the e-sata connector) so i would really make a button to run a script.
Can i use GPIO or other devices?
You know very well this PCB.

Hi Fabaplug,

A simple way to perform such a function without soldering would be to use a usb device such as mouse or a keyboard.

And if i have the chance to solder...what must i to do?
I really interested to do it! What is that connector on pcb?
Is there an other sata port on pcb? Soldering not is a problem for me i have a pro soldering friend.

Forget soldering.

It's much, much easier to write an udev rule to run a command whenever a certain USB device is plugged. Read:
