How to shutdown the Sheevaplug ?

Hello,

I just received my Sheevaplug for MeteoHub and after few tests I would like to move the sheevaplug to another place but I don't know how to shutdown the device. I looked to the beginner section and I tried to login with PuTTy under windows (adress : 192.168.1.77, port 22) and login with the following informations :
Login as root with password nosoup4u
But the password does not work.

Would somebody can help me telling me how to make a clean shutdown of the sheevaplug ?

You should have received a link to the Meteohub page on our forum when you received your Sheevaplug. The Meteohub credentials are different to the normal Sheevaplug.

IIRC there is a shutdown button on the web interface. That's the best way to achieve a clean shutdown. Wait (say) 30 seconds after you can no longer communicate with the device, then de-power it. In general, the Meteohub is configured in such a way that whenever power is interrupted, it will try to reboot from the SD card as soon as power is restored. It never gives up on trying to boot from SD card, so long as power is supplied, repeating the boot process in and endless loop, until it succeeds.

Thnaks for the link as I did not receive it y email when I purchased the Meto Sheevaplug. I will have a look ut I did not find any shutdown button on the interface.
