Hi,

Sorry, I'm new to this Sad

I've been trying to mount my LG NAS N2A2 storage on my eSata SheevaPlug Dev Kit.

When adding this to the fstab ....
//<ip/folder> /mnt/nas smbfs username=<username>,password=<password>

I'm getting this reply ...
mount error: cifs filesystem not supported by the system
mount error(19): No such device
Refer to the mount.cifs(Cool manual page (e.g.man mount.cifs)

How can i access my NAS storage from the Sheeva ?

Tia, Dan

See http://www.newit.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1882.msg5255.html#msg5255

Google has lots of relevant hits, for instance: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/cifs-not-supported-by-the-system-854828/

What kernel and O/S are you using?
